WHAT DRIVES MY WORK

Every story starts with a different way of looking.

I work across directing, performance, movement and writing. Each brings something different to the way I tell stories, explore characters and connect with an audience.

01

Not one discipline. One point of view.

Directing, performance, movement and writing are not separate parts of my work, but different ways of looking at the same questions, from the stage, the body, the text and the space in between people.

02

People before form.

I am drawn to the spaces where identities, expectations and hidden parts of ourselves meet. Theatre allows us to look more closely at what we reveal, what we conceal and how we might change.

03

The body is part of the story.

Movement and choreography are not decoration, but a dramatic language. The body carries memory, contradiction and desire. It reveals what words sometimes cannot.

04

Familiar stories, unfamiliar perspectives.

I am interested in reimagining classics, creating immersive worlds and exploring new technologies, always in connection with the same human questions.

"What interests me is not only the story we tell, but the place we choose to look at it from."

The human question

Who are we when no one is asking us to become someone else?
What do we hide in order to be loved?
What changes when we look again?

THERE'S ALWAYS ANOTHER WAY TO SEE IT.

Sometimes, all it takes is a change of perspective.
