PROJECT STORY

Set in 1960s Baltimore, Hairspray follows teenager Tracy Turnblad as she pursues a place on a television dance show and challenges racial segregation. I took part in the ensemble of the 2018 Italian staging at Teatro Nuovo in Milan and Teatro Brancaccio in Rome, directed by Claudio Insegno, with choreography by Valeriano Longoni and music direction by Angelo Racz.
